The State Duma has prepared amendments to the law “On Highways and Road Activities in the Russian Federation”. They require prior reservation of the date and time to cross the land borders of Russia by cargo transportation. The author of the document was the head of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure Development of the State Duma, Yevgeny Moskvichev. Interfax writes about it.
“This applies only to the transport of goods by road, which is engaged in international road transport, so that they do not spend 10-15 days without food, without a toilet,” Moskvichev said.
The proposed approach will avoid queues at border checkpoints, he added. The head of the committee said that it would be possible to enter the state system in advance, which would determine the specific day, specific time and minutes of border crossing.
Earlier it became known that the State Duma is developing a bill to increase the tax rate for the Russians who have left. Viacheslav Volodin announced this. We talk about it in more detail here.
