The newest Russian T-14 tank on the Armata platform will be able to share targeting information with other combat vehicles. This was reported to KP.RU by retired Colonel Viktor Baranets.
The military expert explained that the T-14 will not act as a simple combat unit, but as a network-focused tank. You will be able to observe the situation on the battlefield, and then transmit data on priority targets to T-90 or T-72 tanks.
“We are getting the T-14 not only as a fighting iron, which has specific tactical and technical characteristics, but also as a tank manager,” he said.
Viktor Baranets also noted that the Armata is equipped with modern reactive armor capable of repelling an attack from Javelin anti-tank systems.
Recall that the pictures of the combat coordination of the T-14 tanks in the NVO zone appeared on the Web recently.
Later, this information was confirmed live on Russia-24 by TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov. He claimed that the armament of the “Armata” would be an unpleasant surprise for the enemy.
