Food Delivery Brands, the parent company of the group that includes companies such as Telepizza, Pizza Hut, Jeno’s Pizza or Apache Pizza, has come to automatically process an average of 2,044 daily online orders through aggregators thanks to Deliverect, a tool that helps to restaurants to optimize the operation of food delivery at home.

Food Delivery Brands’ relationship with Deliverect began in July 2021, and since then the multi-brand group has implemented Deliverect’s technology in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador with the three brands they work with in these countries: Telepizza, Pizza Hut and Jeno’s Pizza.

This allows it to process an average of 2,044 daily online orders through aggregators in a fully automated way, “with the consequent reduction in delivery times and the elimination of manual work,” Deliverect reported in a press release.

By eliminating the need for restaurant staff to control multiple devices and have to manually enter orders into their POS, “both staff workload and the likelihood of errors will be reduced,” he noted.

INTEGRATE EVERYTHING IN ONE PLATFORM TO GAIN EFFICIENCY

The Director of Information Technology at Food Delivery Brands, Javier Mallo, considers that “unifying the integration of orders from aggregators on a single platform is a way of gaining efficiency.”

“The improvement since we worked with Deliverect has been notorious as we no longer have to check the electronic devices, ‘tablets’ or printers of each aggregator”, he commented.

Regarding erroneous orders, Mallo has indicated that they have gone from being 5% to representing between 0.5% and 1%, and that this percentage can be further reduced. He has also highlighted the “agility and speed in analyzing incidents with stores in all geographies in real time” through the Deliverect reporting panel.

Looking ahead to 2023, one of the objectives of Food Delivery Brands is to integrate all the aggregators in the countries where it provides this type of service (Spain, Portugal, Chile, Colombia or Ecuador). “Currently, we have managed to integrate more than 90% of the aggregators through Deliverect, but we have a few left in the Portuguese market, for example,” he specified.
