A trailer has been released for the new movie Haunted Mansion, an adventure film based on the popular Disneyland parks attraction. The video was featured on the Rotten Tomatoes Trailers YouTube channel.
The tape will tell about a single mother named Gabby. She has moved into a luxurious house in New Orleans and discovered that the mansion has terrifying secrets. The heroine and her loved ones began to be terrorized by numerous ghosts. To cope with them, a woman turns to several specialists for help at once: a highly paid priest, an eccentric historian, a psychic, and a paranormal investigator. They were played by Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Tiffany Haddish, and Lakeith Stanfield. The role of the owner of the mansion was played by Rosario Dawson.
Jared Leto and Jamie Lee Curtis will also appear in the film. Leto played a hatbox-wearing ghost, while Curtis appeared as a medium whose head can be seen in a crystal ball. Haunted Mansion is directed by Justin Simien and written by Katie Dippold. The premiere of the film is scheduled for July 28.
The Haunted Mansion was conceived by Walt Disney when creating the first Disneyland. It appeared in a California park in 1969. Initially, visitors were invited to walk through the mystical Louisiana home.
