The drama “Poor Unhappy” tells the story of the “fickle, too sexy and emancipated woman” Bella Baxter. She had the brain of her own unborn child transplanted to him after she committed suicide to escape her abusive husband.
Bella is brought back to life by a brilliant unorthodox scientist and part-time father, Godwin Baxter. But at some point, the protagonist lacks freedom and she decides to elope with the lawyer Duncan. The girl intends to travel the world and defend equality. In addition to Stone, Defoe and Ruffalo, Christopher Abbott and American comedians Rami Youssef and Jerrod Carmichael starred in the film.
