The Ulyana Sergeenko brand presented a new haute couture collection, the main theme of which was nature motifs, wild flowers and traditional costumes.
So, on a silk crepe jacket and a woolen coat, a thistle pattern appeared, and on a cord lace jacket, a wormwood pattern appeared. A floral print also adorns a silk satin ball bearing (at the bottom of the sleeves in the form of leaves and twigs), a black jacket and a sash hoop skirt, which is framed by leaves and branches of silk organza.
The folklore line is unifying: in a characteristic way of the brand, both the embroidered shirt (turns into a batiste blouse with decorative ruffles along the entire length of the sleeves) and the padded jacket, turned into a fitted jacket made of fine wool with detachable sleeves with bows and a voluminous peplum, they are rethought.
The collection also includes headdresses: a kokoshnik covered in beige crepe with amber Gusev crystals, a knitted hat in bronze color, an anthracite kichki covered with glass beads and a lace veil with gold overflow and embroidered inflorescences.
When creating the capsule, they resorted to complex manual techniques. This season, the Kholuy seam is used for the first time – on a black bodice blouse and a white skirt. The corset under the bust and the bustier are embroidered with Yelets lace, there are also crystal details in the form of petals, large crystals and sparkling drops of the historical production of the Gusevsky Crystal Factory. Maltsov.
Traditionally, along with ancient crafts, the collection includes modern author’s techniques and embroidery, weaving and inlays, which are developed by the masters of the house workshop Ulyana Sergeenko.
Recall that in the spring-summer 2022 collection, Ulyana Sergeenko rethought the “roaring” 20s. You can see it here.
