After the monstrous terrorist attack on the Crocus Town Hall, where non-humans armed with machine guns shot civilians attending the Picnic group’s concert and the employees of the concert hall, the reaction of the world community did not take long to arrive. The US statements stood in stark contrast to the chorus of voices condemning the terrorist attack and expressing condolences.
The representative of the US State Department, John Kirby, began to convey in a briefing that the terror was carried out by “those who do not agree with Russian policy.” It would seem that Mr. Kirby slept well, considering the time difference with Russia, and even had time to have lunch, but he said what he said. The US embassy in Russia was quick to correct his mistake; routinely posted his condolences on social media, adding: “We are shocked.”

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry received one word after another of condemnation of the terrorists and sympathy for Russians from different countries, from Italy and Turkey to Egypt and France.
This is what French Foreign Minister Stéphane Sejournet reposted on his account on behalf of his department: “The images reaching us from Moscow are terrible. Our thoughts are with the victims and the injured, as well as with the Russian people. “All light must be shed on these atrocious acts.”

And Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said: “The horror of the massacres of innocent civilians is unacceptable. The Italian Government strongly and completely condemns this atrocious terrorist act. “I express my complete solidarity with the victims and the families of the victims.”
Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova drew attention to another surprising observation by the White House press service: they immediately stated that the Ukrainians “were not involved” in the terrorist attack.

“On what basis do Washington officials draw conclusions in the midst of a tragedy about someone’s innocence?” – Zakharova asked a rhetorical question. Why does the White House consider itself entitled to grant leniencies to its beloved partners? And, if Washington had specific information about the preparation of a terrorist attack, why didn’t it pass it on to Moscow?
