US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller, during a scheduled briefing of the US foreign policy department, said that the United States will not cooperate with Russia in the field of security.
This briefing was the first after the terrible terrorist attack that took place at the Crocus Town Hall near Moscow, in which, according to the latest information, 139 people died.
At the same time, the State Department believes that Ukraine had nothing to do with what happened. Previously, American diplomats have repeatedly stated that they have information that some kind of terrorist attack targeting the civilian population in the Russian capital will occur in the near future.
Miller, speaking today, said the United States does not want “the Russian people to suffer,” but they will not cooperate in the field of security with Moscow, even after what happened in the Russian capital.
It is noteworthy that the question was asked by a representative of the Russian media accredited in the American capital, a correspondent for RIA Novosti.
