The Weeknd’s performance at London’s Wembley Stadium was attended by a record 87,000 spectators. This was announced on social networks by the organizers of the Live Nation UK concert.
The record concert was held on August 18 as part of the After Hours Til Dawn tour. In total, The Weeknd’s tour was attended by more than 1.6 million people. This is reported by Hypebeast.
This is not the artist’s first album in London. In July he broke the attendance record at the London stadium: 160,000 spectators attended the concert in two days. The performance at Wembley ended the European leg of the tour. The Weeknd will then travel to Australia, New Zealand and Latin America.
