Lady Gaga is being sued. The Hollywood star is accused of not paying the promised reward for the lost dogs. It is true that there are nuances.

We are talking about the artist’s beloved French bulldogs, who were kidnapped in 2021. Then an unknown person shot the star’s assistant Ryan Fisher, who was walking dogs (the investigation later found out that it was someone James Howard Jackson): he stole three dogs ; the fourth managed to escape.

It turned out that all this was not a spontaneous action of a man obsessed with bulldogs, but the verified actions of an organized criminal group. As the detectives established, there were five intruders in total, and their plan was to steal the dogs and then rescue them (the plan is really brilliant!). As a result, all the criminals, of course, were found: the shooter was sentenced to 21 years in prison, accused of attempted murder of Gaga’s assistant (he lost part of his lung). It is true that he was already released this year due to an “administrative error”, he is now on the wanted list again.

So the accessory to that very crime, Jennifer McBride, who returned the dogs as if out of the goodness of her heart, is now suing Lady Gaga! So that? For not receiving the promised reward for the dogs. In the amount of half a million dollars (38 million rubles).

The United States is a country of contrasts, where supposedly the law comes first. Therefore, on the one hand, logically, it would be nice if a woman who demands money from the singer out of impudence is sent to correctional labor (she was given a suspended sentence for hiding stolen goods). On the other hand, did Lady Gaga really promise a fee? Perhaps this can be construed as a violation of the law…

At the very least, the plaintiff claims to have experienced acute “pain and suffering” due to the lack of a solid sum.
