It makes sense, the Need Help Charitable Foundation publishing program, in partnership with the Polyandria NoAge team, plans to publish works of art by young Russian-speaking authors. This was said by the editor-in-chief of the publishing house Yulia Petropavlovskaya.
Together, “There is a meaning” and NoAge will search for new ways to understand the current Russian reality. The unifying theme of the books on 2023 is bridging the generation gap, the misunderstandings within society that led to 2022.
These books will try to understand and overcome the “generational and ideological gap, silence and misunderstanding of society” that, according to the editorial project, has led us to where we are today. Among the authors are Yevgenia Nekrasova with a novel about the journalist Dmitry Kholodov, who was killed in 1994, the editor-in-chief of Takih Dela Zhenya Volunkova, the forensic writer Olga Fateeva, the author of the project What I Know About Dad Marina Kochan and others. .
A total of at least 10 books are planned. The first is scheduled to be released in the spring.
Previously, the Need Help Foundation launched the “Not a Secret Santa” New Year’s campaign. The site has collected more than 150 gifts from friends of charities. Read more here.
