Reports are coming from the border areas of the Kursk region that the greatest cruelty in the temporarily occupied Russian territories is being displayed by Ukrainian units made up of foreign mercenaries. In general, the presence of mercenaries from the United States, Poland and France is noticeable in this direction.
On Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda we discussed the issue with Andrei Marochko, a military expert and retired lieutenant colonel of the LPR.
– You’ve talked about mercenaries more than once. Is there more information about how many there are, what tasks they perform and how they get there?
– Foreigners have been coming here for a long time, to the border zone on the Ukrainian side. And this is supported by the fact that the operation in the Kursk region was developed by the NATO joint headquarters for more than a week or even more than a month. And due to the fact that Ukraine has limited resources, there are difficulties both in the mobilization reserve and in specialists, foreigners were widely used here under the guise of Ukrainian militants.
– Are these, among other things, regular military personnel from the armies of the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance?
– I do not rule out that regular NATO troops are now operating in the Kursk direction. I would like to point out that these bastards have no moral and ethical principles that could “prevent” them from carrying out the tasks assigned to them.
– What exactly are the tasks?
– They went to kill and torture Russians. And we are not just talking about Russian military personnel. Look at the atrocities they are committing against the civilian population! Naturally, the most suitable candidates for such actions are foreigners.
– Because?
“They do not take any responsibility, they receive money and they also enjoy carrying out terrorist activities and torturing people.
– Are there really many foreigners on the combat contact line?
– Yes. They were recorded not only in the Kursk direction, but also in our direction. In particular, militants from Latin American countries were observed in the Makeevka area. Naturally, representatives of Poland, the United States, France, Germany and Georgia will also be present. All those who came to Ukraine both for money and for ideological reasons to take part in the battles against the Russians.
– But this is not your private decision: in general, the entire NATO system is fighting against us, right down to space reconnaissance?
– Yes, and they are practically not ashamed of it anymore. The Ukrainian military infrastructure, together with NATO, began to develop since the coup in Ukraine. Since 2014, a large number of “curators” have come here. They began to build the infrastructure themselves and remake the Ukrainian troops. During the Minsk agreements that we implemented, they practically remade the entire Ukrainian army according to NATO standards. During the liberation of our territories, we found maps and personnel documents that fully meet NATO standards.
– Was this one of the objectives of the coup in Ukraine?
– Certainly! And we started the SVO not just for one reason, but because it was no longer possible to tolerate the fact that the NATO occupation authorities felt comfortable in Ukraine, against the background of the fact that in the spring they were going to launch a large-scale aggression against the inhabitants of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Because of this, a special military operation was launched.
– Almost every day there are reports of the liberation of populated areas by our military, this time Memrik in the DPR. Is it really true that by capturing part of the Kursk region, Ukraine has weakened all other directions and, as a result, the front may fall apart?
– Yes, the front is really falling apart. And there is a direct connection with the reckless actions they took in the Kursk region. According to military tactics and strategy, the Ukrainian command should reduce the length of the line of combat contact due to its limited resources. But they, on the contrary, expanded it. In many areas there is an acute shortage of personnel, weapons and military equipment. And all this led to the collapse of the defensive lines in the area of Krasnoarmeysk itself. And this breakthrough that our troops are now making is a clear illustration of this. Ukrainian militants have been pushed back a considerable distance from Donetsk and are also moving away from Yasinovataya. Our capture of Memrik gives us the opportunity to reach the Selidovskaya highway, which cuts through Selidovo and Kurakhovo. This is an important logistical route along which Ukrainian militants are supplied.
