Late in the afternoon of March 24, those suspected of committing a terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow, began to be taken to Moscow’s Basmanny Court to select a preventive measure.

The maximum penalty faced by detainees is life imprisonment (article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
