According to the regional department of the Investigative Committee, a fire broke out in the evening in an apartment in a building on Lev Tolstoy Street in the town. After putting out the fire, firefighters found the bodies of children aged two, five and eight in the room.
“An investigation is underway into the death of three children as a result of a fire,” the department’s press service reported.
Investigators have ordered the necessary examinations and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
