This year, one of the main cultural events of the Far East will take place for the 21st time. The competitive programs and the full composition of the jury will be announced on August 14 at a press conference in Moscow. The Film and Theater Festival will be held from September 10 to 17. Within the framework of the “Amur Autumn” there will be five competitions: feature films, feature films, scripts, unfinished projects and, of course, theatrical performances.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the festival will be held on the stage of the Amur Regional Philharmonic in Blagoveshchensk. In addition, two competitive presentations and a presentation of a special program will be shown here. Five productions of the business competition can be seen at the Public and Cultural Center. The Amur Regional Theater will host two competitive performances and one out-of-competition performance. As part of the festival, Blagoveshchensk will be visited on tour by the company of the Comedian’s Shelter Drama Theater (St. Petersburg); three of its performances will be held at the Amur Drama Theater. In addition, five events of the special program will be held on the site of the PUSHKAREV ART GALLERY.
As RG was informed in the press service of the Ministry of Culture and National Policy of the Amur Region, the performances of “Amur Autumn” will also be shown in such Amur cities as Svobodny, Belogorsk, Raychikhinsk and Shimanovsk. In addition, the festival will visit the cities of Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur of the Khabarovsk Territory.
