Timofei Markov, creator of Black Bird of Hope, dies at 49

Russian trader Timofey Markov has died at the age of 50. The cinematographer passed away in April, but this became known only now. The cause of the artist’s death was not specified. The obituary is posted on the website of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.

Timofey Markov was born in 1972 in the family of Sergei Markov, director of photography at the East Siberian Newsreel Studio. He graduated from the river school, but following the example of his father, he started making movies.
