To town or to the city: we select the right circumstances for the outfit

The heroine of the new series “The Secret of the Lost Village” brought her luxurious metropolitan wardrobe to the desert. Against the backdrop of pastoral landscapes, the images of her seem comical. Where would they fit best?

In May the summer season opens, which means that it is time to get hold of the summer wardrobes. Faded jeans, stretched T-shirts, a sweatshirt with a hole that “you cannot put on people”, old sneakers, rubber boots – in other words, not very beautiful, but comfortable things that are no longer suitable for a metropolis and to live. their lives outside the city. Everything is logical: you cannot weed the beds in a cocktail dress. And if you go against logic? As the heroine of the new series “The Secret of the Lost Village”, released on the Evie platform on April 20.

According to the plot, Tatyana Blok (Maria Gorban), a metropolitan journalist, goes to the outback to shoot documentaries about the mysterious disappearance of people for her vlog. It would seem that it is worth putting sweatpants and crocodiles in a suitcase, but she does not intend to part with urban images. As a result, elegant jackets, suit pants, designer bags, heels and more seem from a parallel universe in rural landscapes. We offer a game: let’s imagine where Tanya’s images would look more appropriate than on the field. And at the same time we will find out what fashion tricks she uses herself.

Palazzo pants + jacket

{“points”:[{“id”:4,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:6,”properties”:{“x”:663,”y”:-2,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:5,”properties”:{“duration”:1,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:-5,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:6,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:11,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

Reporter Tatiana wears this outfit in the first frames of her video investigation. Wide white floor-length pants, a double-breasted jacket, heeled ankle boots, a statement necklace and earrings – among the ramshackle houses of the village it looks quite surreal.

Now imagine the same image in the photocall of one of the films participating in the MIFF. The situation is much more likely. The combination fits into today’s very popular aesthetic of quiet luxury. Simple silhouettes, neutral colors, quality materials – this is how the rich dress, who are not used to flaunting their wealth. Tanya demonstrated a mastery of style, but she missed the decor.

Crochet sweater + scarf

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:-1060,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:1,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:-5,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:6,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:11,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

Tanya went to interview the villagers in a bright crocheted sweater, white jeans and a silk scarf. The outfit is less formal than the previous one, but not at all rustic either.

The set is perfect for a picnic in Kolomenskoye or for Sunday shopping in the center, after which you can stop by Danilovsky for Baku tomatoes. Crochet is one of the main trends of the coming summer, so we recommend that you take a closer look at Tanya’s sweater. It styles it nicely: a colorful scarf, round glasses and several layers of beads refer to the boho of the 90s and 70s, and the woven bag adds Parisian charm to the look.

tunic + straw hat

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:-5,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:6,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:11,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

Throughout the series, the locals are skeptical of journalist Block, and her wardrobe clearly contributes to this. Who will walk around the village in a snow-white openwork tunic dress with a designer bag on his shoulder? A straw hat, of course, adds to the herding image, but a suit jacket immediately levels it out.

This together with a place in the Sochi Arboretum or on the embankment, and not on a country road. A variety of ruffles, seams and other delicate decorations are especially relevant this season. You will not find a more suitable trend for the holiday period.

pantsuit

{“points”:[{“id”:4,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:6,”properties”:{“x”:663,”y”:-2,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:5,”properties”:{“duration”:1,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:-5,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:6,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:11,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

Trouser suits are a key element of Tatiana’s style. And it does not matter that in a rustic environment they acquire a somewhat comical air. Here’s another example: a mustard deuce paired with an orange Bottega Veneta Cassette bag and matching sunglasses in the middle of the infield.

Such an outfit will come in handy in the open space of one of the City’s skyscrapers. The perfect combination for a productive day at work followed by dinner at a trendy restaurant. Bright colors add zest to the image and remind that summer is in the garden.

sweatshirt + panama

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:-5,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:6,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:11,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

Shorts, sweatshirt, Panama – such a combination of things can be imagined in the country. But Tanya added a Dior saddlebag to them, and the image automatically became an urban one.

So you can stroll through Gorky Park and go to the Garage Cafe for lunch on a day off. Things are the most basic, but with character. The neon hues, along with the aforementioned bag, reference the fashion aesthetic of the early 2000s. It’s not amazing, but it’s still readable, so you need to be able to juggle the trends.

Jeans + rubber boots

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:-5,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:6,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:11,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

Another more or less suburban look that becomes urban thanks to the accessories. Here Tatyana finally succumbed to the rural atmosphere and put on rubber boots, and even with a nostalgic floral pattern (do you admit that you wore them in childhood when you went to your grandmother in the village for the summer?).

Again, the base of the kit is elementary: bike shorts, a large white T-shirt and a denim jacket. Imagine that Tanya went to St. Petersburg for the weekend and is going to dance in K-30. A very appropriate outfit for the occasion, and some rubber boots, given the capricious weather here, just in time.

Openwork cardigan + cat glasses

{“points”:[{“id”:1,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:-5,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:3,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:6,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:2,”properties”:{“duration”:11,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

Perhaps the most feminine image of Tanya is a floral dress and an openwork mohair cardigan, as if knitted by a grandmother. Rural motifs are present, but designer accessories still give the heroine a city.

I could have gone to the opening day at Pushkinsky. The silhouette of a foldover cardigan and cat-eye glasses are reminiscent of the 40s style and add some intelligence to the look. At the same time, it does not look too ceremonial – it is suitable for the case when you need to go to the event directly from the office.

{“points”:[{“id”:18,”properties”:{“x”:0,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:0.64,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}},{“id”:20,”properties”:{“x”:152,”y”:0,”z”:0,”opacity”:0.1,”scaleX”:1,”scaleY”:1,”rotationX”:0,”rotationY”:0,”rotationZ”:0}}],”Steps”:[{“id”:19,”properties”:{“duration”:4.5,”delay”:0,”bezier”:[],”ease”:”Power0.easeNone”,”automatic_duration”:true}}],”transform_origin”:{“x”:0.5,”y”:0.5}}

One of the most anticipated series of the year is a detective comedy by Sergei Svetlakov and Said Davdiev, shot in pseudo-documentary style, starring Maria Gorban. She plays a Moscow journalist who, in search of a sensation, travels to the hinterland to investigate the mysterious disappearance of the inhabitants of an entire town. The shooting took place in the wild of Tver, with almost no scenery, so the rural landscapes in the frame are real. Who is to blame for the incident? Veterans with strange hobbies or evil spirits? The heroine Gorban will have to deal with this. All the episodes have already been released on the Evie platform and are available by subscription.
