Despite Tory Burch’s complete love of dogs (the designer has two mini-poodles at once), cats and rabbits became the main characters of the resort 2024. Burch transferred them to skirts, pants and overalls starting from of portraits by the 87-year-old German artist Walter Schels (animals can also be found on the models’ legs in several frames).
Why exactly are they? Probably because the designer associates both cats and rabbits with dexterity, speed and overall movement. And Burch pays more and more attention to the latter, actively working, including with stretch fabrics and the idea of u200bu200bsports in general (the lookbook was shot on the machine in a dismantled room).
“I wanted clean lines,” Tori says, bringing to our screens knit tops with monochrome bodycon skirts and an emphasis on the hips, due to the studded belt. Special attention in the collection deserves several dresses with layered skirt-pants, which refer to bloomers or ballerina tutus, in boiled white, ochre, nude and turquoise black.
