The main set of measures is aimed at eliminating professional risks in the performance of duties. Much attention was paid to the control and improvement of the condition of equipment and devices for the safe performance of work.
In order to improve the level of industrial safety culture, to form a conscious attitude of employees to the safety requirements in high-tech production, theoretical and practical training was organized for more than a thousand employees in the field of labor protection. More than 1,800 organizational events have been carried out, including a special assessment of working conditions, comprehensive and specific inspections of compliance with safety requirements in workplaces.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 11 thousand regular medical examinations have been organized, of which about six thousand were carried out using a mobile medical complex (for employees of units located in hard-to-reach areas).
Some 3,000 people have been vaccinated against encephalitis and first aid kits have been purchased. More than 95 percent of the 8,000 employees have been vaccinated and revaccinated against coronavirus infection. The company allocated almost 90 million rubles for medical and preventive measures.
A significant amount of funds – 330 million rubles – was allocated in 2022 for the purchase of personal protective equipment, overalls and footwear. Likewise, technical means and devices were acquired to guarantee the safety of employees during production work.

To create comfortable and safe working conditions, social and recreational premises were repaired, more than 600 ventilation systems were tested for efficiency, and lighting systems were rebuilt. Equipment for small-scale mechanization and cargo handling devices, special equipment to ensure industrial safety of work were purchased. Almost 200 million rubles were allocated for these purposes in 2022.
In order to draw the attention of employees to the need to comply with standards in the field of safety, “Occupational Safety Days” are held annually at all branches of the company.
In May last year, Transneft Vostok LLC was declared the winner of the competition for the best labor organization on labor protection between companies and organizations in the city of Bratsk. Based on the results of an external audit, the company confirmed the compliance of the labor protection management system with the international certification standard ISO 45001:2018.
