This Wednesday in Oviedo
The President of Cantabria, Miguel Ángel Revilla, has advanced that the meeting on commuter trains will take place in Oviedo, and Cantabrian government sources have later qualified EFE that it will be this Wednesday, at 12:30 p.m.
After the commemorative act of the nursing patron, in statements to the media, Revilla recalled that at this meeting the commissioner for the permanent monitoring of the manufacturing process of the trains will meet, which after errors in their design will arrive with a delay of two years.
This person will be in charge of supervising each pending contract to, on the one hand, guarantee the adequate manufacture of the committed trains and, on the other, ensure the support and maintenance of the fleet that is currently running through the region.
“It is important that this commissioner be vigilant of everything we have agreed so that at the end of the year or the beginning of next year the trains begin to be manufactured and in two years they begin to deliver those units to us,” said Revilla.
