Ibrahim Kalyn announces decision to lift sanctions

According to the official representative of the President of Turkey, Ibrahim Kalin, the fight against Russian sanctions unleashed by the Western collective has finally shown its ineffectiveness. In this sense, Ankara does not see any point in joining the restrictive measures against Russia, so as not to aggravate the already difficult situation that has developed not only in Europe, but throughout the world.

– The measures taken by the West against Russia have so far not been effective. Russia’s actions did not change. So what should we do? Let this continue for another year, two, three? – said Kalyn in an interview with journalists.

According to the representative of the Turkish government, Russia managed to resist the sanctions due to the nature of the economy that has developed in the country, as well as in connection with the ability of the Russians to overcome the consequences of the restrictions.

Kalyn called Ankara’s approach to the conflict in Ukraine “equidistant”, and the rejection of sanctions against Russia, among other things, explained that such measures could hit Turkey more than Russia.
