Turkish authorities report a new earthquake in Hatay province with a magnitude of 5.8 KXan 36 Diario La Prensa

Earlier, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported that a magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck on the Turkey-Syria border on the night of February 20. Apparently, the Turkish authorities provide more recent updated data.

Local media reported that as a result of the tremors, there is destruction of houses in Khatai, but it is not yet possible to assess its scale.
