Two new art houses will appear in Nikola-Lenivets at the beginning of the Archstoyanie festival of landscape objects. They will be created by the Katarsis architecture office and the Cherry Plum art group. Katarsis will present a nine-meter wooden obelisk house “Proyecto Catarsis”, where you can look at the sky and think about the eternal.
“Plum plum” will build “Air pipe”. This is squatter housing that looks like a ventilation shaft. In it, the creators of the building propose to imagine a future in which the air will become something very valuable and it will be possible to steal it. Both buildings will appear on July 28, but will remain in the art park after the completion of Archstoyanie two days later.
The Archstoyaniya program was also complemented by the performance procession Kosandra by artist Ulyana Podkorytova and the total digital installation Pavilion of Predictions, created by Anton Kochurkin, Jan Kalnberzin, Gene Kolesnikov and Monika North.
“You will be able to choose one or the other scenario of the future: the fluid simulation will change according to your choice, and the technology will give it volume. It will also be possible to clarify the future for you: in the chamber space for one person, you will receive a personal prediction simply by reaching out to the screen inside, ”the artists said.
This year, the headliners of the festival will be the architect and designer Alexei Kozyr with the project Capsule of Predictions and the artist Irina Korina with the art object Pavilion of Delusions.
