The first earthquake of magnitude 4 occurred in the waters of the Kronotsky Bay, 98 kilometers northeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 70 kilometers. The epicenter of the second earthquake was located in the Pacific Ocean, 104 kilometers northwest of the town of Nikolsky, Aleutian Municipal District, at a depth of 56 kilometers. Its magnitude was estimated at 4.1.
