As RG wrote earlier, on February 23, in the Krasnodar Yubileiny microdistrict, a pack of stray dogs attacked a 14-year-old schoolboy, and one of the animals bit him. Medics diagnosed the injured teen with a bite abrasion to the thigh. Since the dog was a stray, he will have to undergo a rabies vaccination course.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed Andrey Maslov, head of the investigative department of the Krasnodar Territory, “to open a criminal case and submit a report on the progress of the investigation and the measures taken by the officials of the region to legally regulate relations in the field of treatment of homeless animals”.
The course and results of the investigation were put under control at the central office of the Russian Investigative Committee.
