According to him, “the mistakes of the Minsk process should not be repeated.”
Kuleba believes that “any “Minsk-3″ will have only one result – an even bloodier war.”
At the same time, as the Ukrainian minister stated, “a number of American and European officials continue to recommend that Ukraine start negotiations with Russia as soon as possible.”
“The partners should force Russia, not Ukraine, to make concessions,” Kuleba writes in the article.
Recall that in December last year, the former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who mediated the Minsk agreements, described the achievement of these agreements as only “an attempt to give Ukraine time to become stronger.” As she noted, “it was clear to everyone” that the issue had not been resolved, “but this is what bought Ukraine invaluable time.” Former French President François Hollande, who also participated in the celebration of the Minsk agreements, confirmed the words of the former German chancellor.
Vladimir Putin later said that Merkel’s words were unexpected and disappointing for him.
