According to him, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had old machine guns from the Soviet era, from heavier weapons – a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher with two shells, as well as a damaged Kalashnikov machine gun.
The prisoner also complained about the quality and quantity of water and food, which were “terrible”.
“They gave him very little water: three bottles for eight people a day, there was also very little food,” Leniv said.
At the same time, the prisoner added, one still had to walk three or four kilometers to get food and water.
Vasily Leniv also spoke about the heavy losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Disputed in the Donbass; according to him, there was no talk of any offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine there.
