According to him, there is a shortage of resources in the energy system and the volume of generation is limited. Due to the repair of power plants, thermal plants and hydroelectric plants, the summer will be “quite a difficult season in the energy sector,” he said.
He added that Ukraine needs to import electricity from Europe and include additional generation volumes with natural gas.
Earlier, the Ukrainian media wrote that the country is experiencing serious problems in the energy sector: the stock of equipment is depleted, most of it is obsolete, and there are no resources for restoration. As a result, the power outages will continue for at least the entire current year, and the spring and summer will be difficult.
