United Russia will hold free classes in the sports centers of the regions, group classes, master classes, mass exercises with champions and the approval of TRP standards. The headquarters of public support for the party will set up playgrounds for the elderly, where the coaches will also work with them. People with disabilities will also be able to participate in the sports marathon.
The initiative is supported by more than a thousand non-profit organizations, said Olga Zanko, president of the Council of Supporters, at the first meeting of the marathon’s organizing committee.
The partners of the marathon were the United Russian Youth Guard, the Russian Sambo Federation, the Russian Union of Athletes, the Union of National and Non-Olympic Sports, the Association of Russian Operators of the Fitness Industry, DOSAAF, the Russian Society of the disabled, Yunarmiya.
“June 1 – Children’s Day – we will focus on children’s sports. On June 12 we will hold training sessions and master classes in national and non-Olympic sports, the venues of the Za Sambo party project. On June 24, Youth Day, we want to focus on the PRT rules. July 8 – in family sports, to hold events in military camps, with the families of those mobilized. July 20 is International Chess Day. From July 24 to 31 we offer to carry out a week of inclusive training. The marathon will end on August 12, Athlete’s Day, with a great sporting event, ”he said.
Anyone can participate in the marathon. Training sessions and lectures by professional athletes will be available online.
“To participate in the marathon from June 1, you need to register on the sila-rossii.er.ru website,” said the chairman of the organizing committee of the marathon, a multiple Olympic, world and European champion, Senator Alexander Karelin.
From June 1, on the interactive site map, you can choose the site you like, see if it is possible to visit it with a child and if it is equipped for inclusive sports. After registering for a training session, a ticket with a unique participant number and QR code will be emailed to you. It is a confirmation of a seat reservation at the event. A unique number makes it possible to receive a prize.
Deputy Minister of Sports Andrey Fedorov noted that the Ministry of Sports supports holding the marathon and is ready to include it in the Unified Calendar Plan of interregional, All-Russian and international sports events.
“The marathon is especially significant because a lot of attention is paid to the youth and family members of military personnel who have been mobilized and are in the NVO area. Caring for them is the most important task facing all authorities and public structures, ”he said.
In September, United Russia will summarize the results of the marathon.
