The paratroopers also received more than 700 Skvorets drones, which were developed by engineers from the Center for Unmanned Systems, created with the support of United Russia and the Our Pravda Foundation.
The drones fly at frequencies that are difficult to detect and suppress, said the head of the party’s Central Executive Committee, Alexander Sidyakin.
“This gives our military personnel a good advantage in combat. We brought “Starlings” to several units, the guys praised them a lot. The equipment will soon be ready,” said Alexander Sidyakin.
According to a representative of the 76th Division, the Starlings have helped them destroy about 20 units of enemy armored vehicles in the last month alone, including Leopards and Bradleys.
“And, of course, they saved the lives of a lot of our guys,” a 76th Division spokesman said.
Let us remember that previously United Russia and the Our Pravda Foundation created the Center for Unmanned Systems. It already brings together more than 100 representatives of small and medium-sized companies that are dedicated to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, communication systems, electronic warfare and reconnaissance.
Since April 2023, the party and the fund have donated material and equipment to the front: helicopters of various types, night vision devices, sights, vehicles, additional equipment and special equipment. They were received by units of the 1st Army Corps, 58th Army, 4th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense, military units of the Airborne Forces and others.
Since the first day of the special operation, the party has provided comprehensive assistance to the evacuated residents of Donbass, as well as those who remained in the LDPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. The regional branches of the party have already delivered more than 100 thousand tons of humanitarian cargo to new regions, from food and hygiene products to medicines and medical equipment, construction materials and household appliances.
Since the beginning of the Northern Military District, United Russia has been providing assistance to the front. More than 12 billion rubles were raised for the purchase of special equipment, quadcopters, drones, communications equipment, thermal imaging cameras and equipment for frontline fighters.
