Universal Pictures has acquired the film rights to Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me. The movie will be directed by Jon M. Chu, who wrote the film “Wicked” with Ariana Grande, and produced by Marc Platt, who worked on the films “La La Land” and “Cruella.”
The singer’s autobiographical book was published in October last year and has sold more than 2.5 million copies.
