The fact is that, according to the publication, all the pilots, ex-military who hid information about the benefits paid by the State for disability, have illegal licenses to work in passenger airlines.
As a representative of the Federal Aviation Administration told the publication, it is planned to study the cases of 4.8 thousand former pilots of the United States Air Force. While the documents are being examined, some 60 pilots have already been ordered to stop flying.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is also reported to be simultaneously checking the pilots for fraud.
The publication, citing officials, asserts that former military officers downplay health concerns when applying for jobs on civilian flights and overdo it when applying to the Department of Veterans Affairs for significant benefits. Some are generally silent about health issues.
