Valeria is a loving mother of three children. Her youngest son Arseniy and her daughter Anna live in Russia. But the eldest son, Artemy, settled in Switzerland a long time ago. The artist rarely talks about him. On the day of the 29th anniversary of her eldest heir, the singer posted the rare photo of herself on her social network page and tenderly congratulated her son on her birthday.
“The eldest son… sounds proud. I can’t believe that the tomboy that warmed everyone up as a child has grown into such a smart, kind, strong, trustworthy and caring young man. My dear, happy birthday! Please be healthy and happy! Let the career go uphill, and the concepts and principles will never change. I love you and I’m so proud of you!” – wrote Valeria.
The singer’s eldest son graduated from Webster University in Geneva and Boston Berkeley with three diplomas: “Business Management”, “IT Technologies” and “Sound Designer”. He currently works as a sound engineer for the Swiss record label The Hana Road Music Group. Four years ago, Artemy got married, his classmate Natalya Korennaya became the wife of the star’s son. Several years ago, Natalya’s mother headed JSC Kuznetsk Ferroalloys, one of the Novokuznetsk city-forming companies. Artemy is still in no hurry to have children: he and Natasha want to live a little for themselves and make a career.

Anna, Valeria’s daughter, also studied in Europe, but, unlike her brother, education abroad did not benefit her. At the age of 13, her mother sent the heiress to study at an elite school in Switzerland. Valeria recommended it as an institution for noble maidens for wealthy heirs. The singer really liked the beautiful building and the surrounding nature. But it was there that Anna Shulgina began to have serious problems. In this institution, from the windows of which a wonderful view of Lake Geneva opened, Anna learned what withdrawal from drugs and alcohol are. Shulgina had to study with her classmates two years older than her. 15-year-old girls lived by their strict laws and did not favor calm and “excellent” students.
– My daughter lived according to her rules and her interests. Drug tests were given regularly at the school and all the results were negative. But she did interact with the girls and said she saw terrible stories with withdrawal and other horrors. This is an elite school, ”Valeria admitted in an interview.
After studying at school for a year, Anna came to Moscow for the holidays. I spent the whole summer at home, and two days before leaving for Switzerland I decided to say goodbye to my friends in Moscow. The daughter did not answer the calls, although it was already past midnight. Valeria called all of Anya’s friends; they were all at home. The artist was very worried and even she was going to go to the police when her daughter came home, drunk, crying and with mascara smeared on her face.
– Of course, she received from me the entirety. Then I gave it a chance for the first and last time in my life. And the next day we decided that she would not go to any school”, Valeria recalled.
