On Friday, at the Russian Figure Skating Championships, representatives of women’s single skating entered the fight for medals. And the short program brought surprises.
Beijing Olympic champion in team competitions Kamila Valieva unsuccessfully completed the triple axel and could only show the fourth result – 76.61 points.
Best of all, 15-year-old Sofia Akatieva coped with the task. The judges rated her performance 85.59 points. Elizaveta Tuktamysheva lost quite a bit to her – 82.98. The third place is occupied by Sofia Muravieva – 79.96.
Earlier, due to the high temperature, the silver medalist of the Olympic Games-2022 Alexandra Trusova refused to perform in Krasnoyarsk.
