Pablo Vasile has received a total of 1.84 million euros during his last year in charge of Mediaset España as CEO. However, this figure represents a drop of 4.4% compared to 2021, as reported by the company this Thursday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Replacing Vasile, the Mediaset board of directors received Alessandro Salem and Massimo Musolino as CEOs of the company from January 1, 2023. Of them, 548,000 euros corresponded to his salary; 215,000 euros, a variable remuneration; 75,000 euros, fixed; 52,000 euros, a diet; and 39,000 euros, to other unknown concepts.

As CEOs, Mediaset España will pay 987,615 euros to Salem and 640,048 euros to Musolino in fixed remuneration. For his part, the president of Mediaset Spain, Borja Prado, received 1.57 million euros in 2022 after accessing the position last April to replace Alejandro Echevarría.

Prado received 1,389 million as salary, to which he added a fixed remuneration of 75,000 euros, 104,000 euros in per diems and 3,000 euros in other concepts. In this way, Mediaset España disbursed 6.4 million in remuneration to its executive and external directors, while the average remuneration of employees was 59,000 euros in 2022.

The communication group – owner of television channels such as Telecinco or Cuatro – earned 178.3 million in 2022, 1.5% less than in 2021, after experiencing a 1.3% drop in revenue to 865.3 million, in a context marked by the merger process with its parent company, Media For Europe (MFE).
