The sound wave was so strong that in the Soviet district of the metropolis many cars in the parking lot sounded an alarm.
The head of the region, Vasily Golubev, explained the information by breaking the sound barrier by a military fighter.
“In connection with numerous reports of loud sounds that were heard in different parts of Rostov and its surroundings, the military reported the transition of the plane to supersonic,” Vasily Golubev said on Telegram.
