The Venice Film Festival has announced the full list of jury members for the 80th anniversary show. This was written on the official website of the Biennale.
The winners of the main competition will be chosen by Jane Campion, winner of the Silver Lion in Venice for best direction in the film Power of the Dog, Martin McDonagh, director of the film The Banshee by Inisherina, Laura Poitras, who received the film All Beauty and Bloodshed at the last Venice film festival, the main prize – the “Golden Lion”, as well as Mia Hansen-Löwe, director of the play “Bergman’s Island”.
The film festival will be held from August 30 to September 9.
