There is a possibility of warm weather returning, a scientist told RIA Novosti. “It will exceed 60 percent, but only a short-term rise in temperature, not up to +30 degrees, but above +25 degrees,” Vilfand said.
Cooling fog is possible in the central part of the European part of the Russian Federation next week. This is a phenomenon when, in slightly cloudy weather, evaporation occurs from the underlying surface and fog forms, Vilfand explained.
“I can joke: morning fog is forecast for next week, but warm weather is still “in the fog,” the agency’s interlocutor noted.
He added that high temperatures will not be visible until the end of next week, but that from around August 20 the heat will be “in the fog,” but it is visible.
Vilfand had previously said that the warm summer weather would leave the capital region for a while. On Sunday it will start to get colder and on Monday the air will cool down to +19 degrees.
