VK sent a letter to the company’s employees informing them that they would continue to work remotely, as long as they were in Russia. TASS writes about this with reference to a copy of the statement, which was at the disposal of the agency.
“We keep this format [удаленной работы]but we clarify that it is possible from the territory of Russia,” the letter says.
The order specifies that being on the territory of Russia is necessary to “be in the same context with users and understand their needs.” The press service of the company, in response to a request from TASS, reported that VK retains the possibility of remote work.
“Employees have the opportunity to work from the office, in a hybrid format, and remotely. At the same time, large-scale remote work with all access, including work with user data, is possible from the office or remotely from the territory of Russia,” the press service noted.
