The Vkusno-i Tochka fast food restaurant network has filed a trademark registration application in Kazakhstan. Interfax Kazakhstan writes about this with reference to the relevant documents that appeared in the intellectual property rights department of the country’s Ministry of Justice.
At the moment, the application is being examined by the expert organization. It is not yet known how long this process may take. In early January, it was reported that McDonald’s would close its operations in Kazakhstan amid disruptions in meat supplies.
According to Bloomberg sources, after February 24, the corporation’s management prohibited local companies Food Solutions KZ LLP from buying meat cutlets in Russia. In addition, the work of the network’s restaurants in Kazakhstan and Belarus is complicated by the arrest of the businessman and owner of the McDonald’s franchise in Kazakhstan, Belarus and various regions of Russia, Kairat Boranbaev.
Previously, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the delivery of Vkusno, and that’s the point, began to work. So far, 55 points are connected to the service. We talk about it in more detail here.
