Vladimir Putin gave a long interview to Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on the channel “Russia-1”. He told how Russia’s relations in the world will develop after the suspension of the treaty on strategic offensive weapons, what plans the West has for the people of Russia and whether Europe understands that the United States is trying to subdue them. The main thing the president said:
WHAT SHOULD THE UNITED STATES UNDERSTAND?
It is their business what to understand, what not to understand. We cannot get into their heads (the United States and NATO as a whole – ed.). We need to preserve our country, guarantee security and strategic stability. Under these conditions, when the NATO bloc, at the suggestion of the Americans (they expelled them for making this statement), made a claim to participate in this dialogue (about START, – ed.). They are not formally a country in this treaty. (In it, – ed.) Two sides – Russia and the United States. NATO made a statement and requested a discussion on this issue. Please, we don’t care.
WE WILL COUNT THE WARNINGS OF GREAT BRITAIN AND FRANCE

They said it was a political organization, not a military bloc. Well, where is he not a military man? After the collapse of the USSR, the situation in the world is changing. New centers of power appear. Naturally, this should affect the priorities in building international relations. We agree. We have never interfered with this. But what are we up against? Against the fact that the new world, which was taking shape, was built only in the interests of one country, in this case, the United States. And they want to do just that.
Everyone understands this. Including its satellites. But for various reasons, mainly a heavy dependence on the field of economy, defense, they think that the fight against Russia is the same interest that they have with the states. Satellites are included in this fight. But they are aware that the United States is only doing what is in its selfish interest. They took away the order for submarines in Australia from France, humiliated the country, and everyone washed up and said, “Thank you very much, come back.”
We will not behave like this. And in the end – such a position – the fight for a multipolar world, for respect for everyone, in the international arena, for taking into account the interests of all, I have no doubt that it will prevail.
DISASSEMBLY INTO SMALL PARTS
They have one goal – to dismantle the former Soviet Union and its main part – the Russian Federation. And then, perhaps, we will be accepted into the so-called “family of civilized peoples”, but only each part separately. So that? To push these parts and bring them under your control.
If we follow this path, the fate of many peoples of Russia, and above all, of course, the Russian people, can change dramatically. I don’t even know if such an ethnic group as the Russian people can survive in the form in which it exists today. Well, there will be some “Muscovites”, “Urals”, etc.
EVERYTHING IS KNOWN A LOT
These plans are on paper. It’s just that in the conditions of building relationships, we try not to talk about it. For association reasons. And now, when, after the collapse of the USSR, his attempts to remake the world exclusively for themselves led him into such a situation, we are, of course, forced to react.
RUSSIAN VICTORY CONDITION
When the people of Russia are united, united, we have no equal. And this is the main condition for all our achievements and all our victories.
