On Wednesday, May 31, talks were held in the Kremlin between Vladimir Putin and Eritrean President Isaias Afevorka. This is the first official visit of the head of an African country to Russia.
– Eritrea recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its independence, which coincides with the date of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, – said the Russian leader, noting the good relations between the countries.
– We must pay attention to the development of trade and economic ties. We have good prospects in many areas, which we will talk about today, – added Vladimir Vladimirovich.
The president thanked Afevorki for the warm welcome from Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov earlier in the year.
– The signing of a series of intergovernmental agreements is on our agenda. I hope that colleagues have worked and we can do it,” said the Russian leader.
The head of Eritrea, for his part, ruled on all post-Soviet geopolitics.
– The global world order is on the verge of a radical transformation. The thoughtless ideology, the rampant actions to dominate and create a unipolar world, which have been taken for 30 years, have led to the crisis. This is the most serious barrier in the progress of humanity, – said Isaias Afevorki.
True, the president of the African country diplomatically kept silent about who is behind all these problems.
