The speaker recalled that Washington used similar projectiles in Yugoslavia and Iraq, which led to contamination of the area, as well as a sharp increase in cancer among people.
The tragedy, according to him, will affect mainly the European states, that is, it will turn into a “war to the last European.”
The State Duma speaker also noted that the next step after supplying depleted uranium munitions could be the Kiev regime’s use of a dirty bomb or the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
“If this happens, there will be no turning back,” he summed up, adding that the “war to the last Ukrainian” waged by Washington and its satellites could lead to this.
Earlier, British Deputy Defense Minister Annabelle Goldie announced that British authorities would supply shells containing depleted uranium to Ukraine. They have increased the efficiency in the destruction of armored vehicles. Commenting on the British authorities’ decision, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia would be forced to respond appropriately if “the collective West starts using weapons with a nuclear component.” The Russian Embassy in the UK has warned London not to deliver this type of ammunition to kyiv, warning of an imminent escalation of the conflict, as well as the consequences for the health of the local population.
