Wall Street closed the day on Wednesday flat, with slight falls in the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 and slight gains in the Nasdaq with the focus on the Federal Reserve minutes. The Fed has announced that it is willing to maintain the rate hike in the upcoming meetings in order to contain inflationary pressures. However, the falls have moderated over the American park.
At the close of operations on the New York Stock Exchange, its main index, the Dow Jones fell 0.26% to 33,045.09 points, while the selective S&P 500 lost 0.16% to 3,991.05. For its part, the Nasdaq, which brings together the country’s main technologies, closed positive and added a slight 0.13% to 11,507.07 points.
