The police learned about the incident from the victim himself, a 49-year-old man, a jeweller by profession. He said that in the courtyard of one of the houses on Ordzhonikidze Street, an unknown person shot him with a pneumatic pistol.
The police squad that arrived at the scene determined that the man was shot in the back from the window of the house.
The victim sought medical help. Doctors assess his condition as satisfactory.
The attacker is being sought. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism).
