On Wednesday, Evgeny Poddubny, a Russian war correspondent and author of documentaries and special reports, was injured in the Kursk region.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin and some Telegram channels spread misinformation that Poddubny had died. These messages were later deleted.
“Evgeny Poddubny is alive. He has already regained consciousness and is receiving all necessary treatment in one of the Kursk hospitals,” said the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov.
Many Russians wrote on social media and in messengers that they were praying for Evgeniy.
Last year, Poddubny came to Krasnodon and Lugansk for the presentation of a special issue of Rodina magazine, entitled “SVO – Our Great Patriotic War.” He spoke simple and very necessary words to those gathered. Then I sat in the hall and read the special issue. When he left, he took it with him.
