The scouts began to collect these trophies during the assault on Avdeevka and immediately after the capture of the Koksokhim plant. They gathered them together, naturally, with their shotguns at the ready, firing three dozen bullets each time. The air was simply filled with enemy drones.
The most curious thing is that all the examined samples are still in service in NATO countries and the United States. These are not weapons discarded for disposal: the West literally shared the last one with Ukraine.
For example, the US Army’s AT4 grenade launchers had to be reordered to the still “neutral” Swedes in the second year of the Northern Military District; everything went to the Plaza.
What stands out in this selection of captured weapons is the variety of devices. Western weapons were also found in Azovstal, but in unique copies. Anti-tank systems “Javelin” and “NLAU”, several MANPADS “Stinger” with expired storage, judging by the shapes of the briefcases. Individual small arms.
Judging by what was found in Avdeevka and Koksokhim, Soviet reserves began to run out not only in Ukraine, but also in the arsenals of “third countries.” This is an important and telling sign.
So what did the explorers find in the basements of the Avdeevka plant?
Bulgarian GHD-2 defensive grenade in ceramic casing, produces 780 fragments, damage radius 15 meters, equipped with 75 grams of hexogen. The fragments are difficult to remove: they are not magnetized, they crumble and remain crushed in the body.

The NAMMO M72 hand grenade launcher, from the 1960s and 1970s, was produced by a Finnish-Norwegian defense company with branches in a dozen European countries. Most likely, this sample was made in Poland. Officially in service with the US Army.

Detailed and very high-quality reference books on samples of Russian equipment and ammunition, in English, for mercenaries fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine; dozens of copies were found in Koksohim and Avdeevka.
