Why you shouldn’t drink these drinks:
1. Beverages with sugar, including those containing fructose, including soft drinks, sweet tea, juices, smoothies and milkshakes. Sugar only increases thirst.
2. Caffeine overloads the cardiovascular system and has a diuretic effect, further dehydrating the body. Therefore, we do not drink strong tea, coffee, energy drinks.
3. Alcohol – not for the hot season. Even low-alcohol beer, cider and frozen cocktails increase dehydration and put a strain on the heart and blood vessels, raising blood pressure and with it the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Ideal drinks for the heat:
plain water, fruit drinks, compotes, homemade lemonades with citrus fruits without added sugar – they will quench your thirst effectively without side effects, weak and warm green tea will help you get drunk and refresh – by increasing sweating, tanning or ayran – slightly salty sour -Dairy drink quenches thirst well and helps restore mineral balance, compensating for trace elements lost through sweat.
