Actor and director Nikita Mikhalkov, 77, is reported to have been hospitalized with “covid pneumonia,” Baza writes. He was initially sent to the No. 67 City Clinical Hospital, then with the help of the resuscitation team, he was transferred to another hospital. Mikhalkov’s condition is assessed as serious.
As reported on the telegram channels, “Nikita Mikhalkov was diagnosed with respiratory failure against the background of bilateral pneumonia. At the same time, he remains conscious and breathes on his own. Tests for covid and flu returned negative results. (…) The director’s condition is difficult, but there is a moderately positive trend”, reports Mash.
Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov was born in 1945 in the family of poets Sergei Mikhalkov and Natalia Konchalovskaya. He became famous as an actor in the film “I am walking around Moscow”, then he directed several films that became the pride of Russian cinema: “At home among strangers, a stranger among friends”, “Slave of love”, ” About days of the life of II Oblomov”, “Burnt by the sun” and others.
