– It is gratifying that the forum is held in the heart of Siberia, the Novosibirsk region, famous for the names of leading scientists, world-class research institutes and developments in various fields, – said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, opening the forum . – This year, about 200 high-tech companies will participate in the exhibition, so I urge participants to be proactive, not to miss the opportunity to get an expert assessment of their project, attract investment and find new partners.
The partners are scientific, educational and industrial organisations. Today, the “Laurentian” triangle rules still sound relevant. As Igor Drozdov, chairman of the board of the Skolkovo Foundation, said in the plenary session: “It is extremely necessary to build effective cooperative ties between universities, small technology companies, production sites and large customers.”
In addition to cooperation, another focus of this year’s forum is the activities of the regions. What can the territories offer to ensure Russia’s technological leadership? How are your projects evaluated by the scientific community?
– At the Science and Education Council, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed the importance of integrating science and regional development programs, so the key theme of this year’s forum is “Science, technology and industry in the heart of regional development”. The Government executes a set of federal projects and programs aimed at ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country in the shortest possible time, emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.
One of the notable “weak points” of today’s science and production is the shortage of personnel, both scientific and labor. And it is no coincidence that the Technoprom participants paid special attention to the training of qualified personnel, which should begin at school. And not just in class. One of the brightest stands at the forum is dedicated to the “Games of the Future” project supported by Dmitry Chernyshenko. In his opinion, the “Games of the Future” will become a catalyst for the training of scientific and technical personnel in the country’s regions.
In particular, it is possible to teach drone and robotics programming and design with the help of computer games.
– About 15 percent of Russian schoolchildren attend technological circles. At the same time, up to 90 percent of schoolchildren play computer games. There is no point in fighting this, it is necessary to direct the passion of our children in the right direction. We want to create rewarding games where you can learn new skills latently. For this, the National Cyber-Physical Platform was developed, which in addition to games includes electronic kits and programming languages, – said Alexei Fedoseev, Chairman of the Association of Technological Circle Participants.
The combination of play and technical creativity will soon be possible in Novosibirsk – at Technoprom, representatives of the Association of Circles, the Novosibirsk center for the support of gifted children “Altair” and city schools have agreed to cooperate. In addition, as Kristina Kolesnikova, director of education of the Games of the Future project, pointed out, several Russian universities will open master’s programs in September to train figitel trainers and figitel streamers (broadcast quality specialists). Such areas may appear at Novosibirsk State University and Novosibirsk State Technical University.
Fidgital is a synthesis of virtual and physical reality. The international competition “Games of the Future”, which will take place in Kazan next year, will combine traditional team sports and electronic sports. Participants will have to demonstrate both good physical fitness and gaming skills. For example, Figital Football will include video game tournaments and traditional matches on the field. The winner will be determined by the sum of goals in both rounds. Competitions will take place in 16 hybrid disciplines, including basketball, hockey and mixed martial arts.
